

Johannes Roberts was recently championed by acclaimed critic Kim Newman as being the man to ‘rejuvenate the twisted shrub of British horror’. Prior to writing and directing “F”, Johannes directed the revolutionary award winning series When Evil Calls, the world’s first made for mobile series; starring Sean Pertwee, Chris Barrie and Dominique Pinon it was released by Sony Pictures and Lionsgate Films. He shot to fame after directing the international cult hit Forest of the Damned. David Pirie wrote of the film, in his book ‘A New Heritage of Horror’ (described by Martin Scorsese as ‘the best study of British horror movies’), that Forest of the Damned ‘is a beautifully filmed mythic story which works intelligently in the adult fairy-tale genre.’ Johannes is signed to Independent Talent Group (formerly ICM London).
